A Classic kneebar attack. I prefer to attack from this headlock and only grab one leg. Many athletes prefer to grab both heels on the roll to reduce their opponents ability to counter, but I find that when my opponent works to free their head they almost forget that their leg is what is really in trouble…I find this to be the case with most leg attacks. And, the action of escaping the headlock gets their body moving in the opposite direction as the escape to the kneebar making it very hard to stop the attack.
Using the rolling kneebar from the headlock also makes it a handy combination attack with headlock throws and makes the technique more applicable in no-gi situations.
